Since 4X4JK's wife thinks JKs are, and I quote "JKs are for kids in their teens and twenties and are just toys", this poll is for him for use to prove his wife wrong.

I think you are getting some pretty good amo...I wouldn't think many teens could afford these toys...I know I wouldn't have been able to...but now!!! :brows:

2nd. my jk is my first new, non-leased vehice. i'm 28

turned 20 back in sept. This is my second vehicle, traded in an 02 dodge dakota for it :thumbsup:

Im 33. My JK is my other woman named Victoria and a toy!!

This is the first vehicle I got to drive off the lot and put the first KM on..... As well as the first scratch, first dent, first spill in the interior.....:thumbsup:

19 and lovin every bit of my 2010 jk!

39 and my first wrangler. I have owned several Cherokees and one grand Cherokee.

31 here. First JK. Had a couple CJ's when I was in high school though. Man I miss those days.

25 here. my fifth vehicle but my first jeep. I love my JK more than anything else I've ever had and the best part as my best friend's girlfriend says "It's like an erector set." A toy that you keep buying toys for.:WootJump:

I think a teen would be pretty hard pressed to pay for an Unlimited Rubi. Congrats to those that can afford it and do. That is if mommy and daddy didn't buy it for them. If that's the case let them know I need some cash for some mods I'd like to do and I am a good son! :synister:

50+ and man I'm in the oldertimers zone. I don't want to be old.
But, age allows one to amass some stuff so this JK is a toy among a group of 7 other vehicles that are all toys..................well, ones a Hemi truck..............okay thats a toy too.:D

Hey guy...were the same age, and I'll be 54 in April....:eek2: Yeah, many a times I've thought about getting something else for a dd, but then I say...........naw, I just love drivin' the thing too much everyday...!!!:ya:....can't say I mind getting all the good looks either....:thumbsup:

It's my birthday tomorrow!!! 44 and on my third jeep (fifth if you count wife's patriot and son's XJ). Love the JK. Having fun in the snow here.

A week away from 38 here ...

not my first Jeep though. :bleh:

'09 JK ... 2.5" lift and 35's going on this weekend (just got it in June)
'92 YJ ... 4" lift and 33's, locked, 4.3L and 700R4 (sold, maintenance nightmare)
'86 MJ ... 3" lift and 30's (sold to a friend, he still has it)
'95 XJ ... 5.5" lift and 33's, locked (drunk driver hit me head on and totaled it)

And my wife has an '04 KJ ... 2.5" lift and 30's :) (she's had it since new)

30 here....Love my Jeep....it's just one of my toys:yup:....my girlfriend thinks I'm crazy, but she loves coming along with me on most of the trips, and then realizes how the mods have made wheelin more fun.....she's a keeper:yup:

Im 27, My jk is my dd. I have an s-10 that runs perfectly fine but never drive it. Who would want to drive an s-10 when they can drive a jeep?:thinking:

i am 65 and my 6th jeep. it is my favorite plus it helps me stay young and puts a smile on my face everytime i get in it. no other vehicle does that for this price:ya:

I'm 36 and this is my 4th Jeep. I had a CJ, then a TJ, then a CJ (the same one) and now the Rubi. Even the wife wants one now!

first car '67 mustang coupe age 15 (sold for harley)

first truck '94 s-10 4x4 age 16 (sold for silverado)

second truck '03 silverado z71 age 19 (sold for jk)

first harley nightster age 21 (still own)

first jeep '08 jk age 22 (still own and wont ever sell)

and 3 quads between the ages.... I like toys...

Just cracked 30 and this is by far my favorite truck that I've ever owned. been through a Blazer, 2 Corollas, Tahoe, Mustang, and finally the Jeep.

I'm 37 and this is my 5th jeep. I've had an 85 CJ-7, a 1997 TJ, a 1986 CJ with a wrangler front clip and interior, a 2000 TJ Sahara (still have it) and recently bought a 2009 Rubicon Unlimited. Love driving a jeep.

I'm 34 and had many different vehicles but I must say I originally bought the 09 Rubicon Unlimited for the wife. I ended up liking it so much I fight with her to get it back. Thank god she's into mods though:thumbsup:

I have to agree some what with your wife BUT there is not an age bracket on toys. The 2 door is a toy, now the 4 door can have more uses and may suit your needs and wants. From your poll the 30s age group by far. But you know what they say 30 is the new 20.

I'm three months short of 57. My wife, who is 55, drives my '08 2 door occasionally. She really enjoys it. However, wrestling our 2 year old grand daughter into and out of the back is a chore, so she transports the baby in her 2009 Grand Vitara (her Suzuki has the 230 hp V6 with the 4-mode system w/locked low range. Tires are the suck tho).

You're never too old to own a Wrangler. Back in 2005, my neighbor bought himself a new TJ to celebrate his 70th birthday. I see him driving it just about every day.

32 last week, first a TJ in my mid 20's, then a Tahoe now my JK!

54 going on 24! Had a CJ around twenty years ago and missed it, waited for kids to grow before getting another Wrangler. Hard to explain, their not for everyone but for me the JK is IT.:ya:

I AM in my twenties (in my head, anyway) and the Jeep IS a toy (more like therapy).

Really I'm just about ready to retire (lottery permitting). But I meant what I said about the toy! :yup:

Been driving Jeeps since my pre-teen years - sometimes with my Dad's permission. Of course, back then it was called a "Willys". Ah, the good old days.

I'm 27 now, but I bought the JK when I was 24. The first new car I have ever owned (well almost just a few more payments). I had to graduate from college and get a real job before I could afford it. I wouldn't have wanted anything else. :thumbsup:
