2 more that really get to me:

- the cigarette that the person in the car in front of me is smoking;

- had to drive pasta a slaughterhouse on the way to work when I lived in Mexico. There were always dead dogs on the highway right in front of it.

every morning i drive past a "refuse treatment center" aka landfill... With all the rain we have been getting on top of the 95+ degrees all week, its been a very RANK drive to work. Especially when you get to work 30 miles later and you can still smell it

On the positive side, there's nothing like the smell of pine trees high up in the mountains.

This is one of the things we realized getting the jeep, topless and doorless, you are much more involved with what is going on around you.

The Bad
-Low tide in Monterey, dead fish, rotting seaweed, really bad.
-Following a tomato truck through the valley when it is 110 degrese, smells like rotten moldy ketchup.
-A freshly fertalized fields, manure spread thickly all over as far as you can see, nasty.
-All of the dead rotting road kill on the bumper to bumper ride to work, skunks are bad but I have seen something unrecognizable that was worse.

The Good
-Strawberry fields, I start drooling it smells so good sometimes.
-Garlic fields, I love garlic and it is really strong when they are harvesting.
-Driving up in the woods, getting the christmas tree pine smell.
