You could get a stock paper one or K&N makes a drop in thats about $50. Any local auto parts can order either of these or may have them in stock.

I went with the K&N replacement. I've noticed the JK shifting smoother and seems to be getting ~1-1.5mpg better with it.

I've always gone with K&N.

You can severely prolong the life of any paper filter by simply knocking out the dirt and then blowing it out with compressed air. Most shops won't tell you this because they want to sell stuff.

I've got the AEM dryflow (no oil). You can wash it with soap, blow it out with air, or just bang it up against a rock and put it back in. It is sweet.

No. All you can do with the stock paper filter is knock it out and blow it out with compressed air. You CAN wash it out, but there won't be anything left.

This a drop in or CAI filter? How has it worked out for your JK?

It's a drop in from Quadratec. It works great. It seems like I get about .5 MPG better, no oil to recharge, and can reuse it forever.

Blowing out the stock onwith compressed air is good once or twice but you'll notice you won't have to clean it as often because the dirt is going right through due to the damage from the compressed air
