I just noticed our Jeep does not have this, do you have to have A/C to get it?

 

Usually, but A/C was standard on the JK.

Let me mention that air recirculation only works in certain HVAC modes on the JK... for example, I can switch recirculation mode to "on" when I have the AC on, but when it's (AC's) off, hitting the recirculation button does nothing... I only noticed this because it's in stark contrast to other vehicles I've owned, which would allow for air recirculation under any circumstances...

 

Guess so, because I have it..and AC. I thought AC was standard on the JK.

 

In Canada, A/C is an option.

We get 4x4 Standard however.

I think what he's trying to say is that you can't get the 4x2 in Canada. If you go to Jeep.ca you can't even select it as an option.

I'll withold any further comments regarding the availability of the 4x2 option in general to avoid derailing the entire thread.

 

No A/C here, that's my biggest regret
