Anyone kow when the next set of allocations are going out? Or do they regularly go out like 2Xs a month or something?

Thanks....Not taking my dealers word on it anymore, just don't think I am getting the true story from them...

 

z-Man, you gotta calm down, you are gonna give yourself ulsers, or roids or something. Your order has only been in for a month and a half, and the '08 season is only a day old. Expect to spend a lot of time in BG, with little teases in the rareified air of BX, then back to BG hell. Just figure you won't see it until at least Thanksgiving, then if it comes earlier, you have good reason to celibrate, and I hope we both get ours soon, but plan on later. There are people here that have waited 6,8, 10 months, and more for a Rubie and for our sanity we should expect to wait almost as long.
I hope the wait is a lot less, but you need to figure it will not be, and once the order is in, its really out of the dealers controll, we're at the mercy of DC now, and you know about the famous tender mercies of the Krauts!

 

I hear ya...It gives me something to do as a break from work to check, but the dealer is giving me all sorts of different answers. That's all.

That and I have no car, so I am getting a little frustrated with having to bum rides. Sorry if I come off as a complainer, I realy am not, just impatient

I appreciate all of you putting up with my ranting sometimes...I just need to vent it out sometimes, it makes me feel better.

Go ahead and rant, if it helps you it can't be a bad thing. I was just lending moral support, letting you know there are others in the same boat, more saying if it comes sooner rather then later it will feel like early Christmas. But for your own sanity, and peace of mind, its better to be prepared for a long wait.

And having no car at all.... must be a major frustration in it's self. So go ahead and rand if it makes you feel a little better, I'm sure no one here minds, a lot of ranting has gone on before yours.

 

I have a similar story...

I had ordered an 08 JK Unlimited Rubicon (Jeep Green) on June 20th.

On July 7th (07/07/07) my dealer called me with the exact Jeep I had ordered plus the NAV system on an 07 Jeep Green Unlimited Rubicon. Apparantly, another guy ordered it but didn't mean to order a 4 door model...so he didn't want it...

So I bought it.

Wait...nevermind, my story is nothing like yours.

Although it was well on it's way to being the same story until 7/7/7!

I think it is 2 a month. first of the month, then middle like 15th, 16th.

no prob, thats what I was told, I'm not 100% sure its true. I'm in your same boat though. Still waiting. I've been in bx since june 5th. Dealer is waiting on an allocation spot.. I wish I had known more about how allocation works... I think I would have ordered at a bigger stealership... but I prolly wouldn't have gotten as good of a deal..
