alpine windows

Default alpine windows

Has anyone whought about puting alpine windows in to a jk hard top???

I love how they look and the extral light that they let in.

if you dont know that alpine windows are most D-90 hard tops have them.


thsy are the small oval windows about the back glass!

Hey... if you want more light, take the top off


I don't think there's enough room to make windows like that on the JK...

I would think the only way to have this done "right" is to make a whole new top that is designed for these. I would think by just cutting into the stock top you would be creating a potential for more leaks, and would also be taking away some of the structural integrity of the top.

Well there's no way to get that look in a stock hard top. It's too square. You would end up with a sunroff with the current hard top shape. The d90 has the wedge thing going on till the back widows. That gives room to radius the sides & add the glazing up there. If you make a new top with these take lots of pics & post up. I'd like to see the finished project. If I was going the new top route I might try taking on the pop up camper roof.
