Default Am I getting a good deal.

First - Hello to all the JK Forum members - coming from South Texas.

Second - Want to wish everyone a Safe and Happy New Year.

Guess you can say that I've been reading and learning about Wrangler's. The do's and don'ts, etc. I don't have a JEEP yet, but if everything works out - this time next week I should be the Proud owner of a Wrangler Rubi.

Here's my question: I found a 2008 Wrangler 4x4 Rubi - White with Gray, 6-spd, hard-top.
It has the following upgrades: RS9000 lift (guessing 2.5 lift), winch bumper with Warn Winch, rear bumper (not sure what brand). Pro Comp black wheels (17 x 8), BFG Mud 255/75R-17, Sat Radio, has 20400 miles on it.

Asking $26,000

I went to JEEP and built a new 2010 Rubi with hard-top, Power Pkg, Tow Pkg - Total was $ 31400 plus TTL and then upgrades years later.

So, I just wanted to know if I did my homework and could possibly walk away with a good deal.

Thank you for your advise and comments.

Assuming it is in excellent condition that is about the going rate, not a great deal and not getting taken either (at least around my area that is). A great deal would be talking the seller down to 22k.

EDIT: Is it a 2dr or 4dr? 2dr 22K would be a great deal, 4dr 24K would be great.

i got an 09 unlimited Rubi hard top with a sticker of 34.5k (loaded except for mygig) and was OTD at 28k with a bunch of extras thrown in... wouldn't say the best deal but not bad either... but may help you gage your offer.

Just hit 7k miles on it and love every minute of it!

Default Update..

The one I was telling you about was a 2009 2-dr Rubi with 20500 miles for $26,000

Well this morning the wife and I went for a drive - just wanted to take a look at some Jeeps.
To our surprise the dealership was open - well ended up talking to a salesperson and they found me a Jeep.

2010 White Rubi, 6-spd, hard-top, deep tint sunscreen, power convenience gp, trailer tow, dual top gp, CD/DVD/HDD/NAV system. So after doing some haggling I will be pickup the Rubi on wednesday.

Thank you - StoneWhite

From what I have learned here by just reading some of the topics - helped me decide what model to buy.

All thou it is going to be a DD - I will be adding a 2.5 suspen lift, bumpers, and lets not forget bigger tires and wheels.

Just need to save up for the mods....

Cheers
