Okay so i went and chopped on side of my bumper...i cut inside of the bolts that hold the bumper on...is this a huge mistake?

pics? You mean that you cut outside or inside of where the crush cans/towhooks/bumper bumps are?

haha ya its a mistake! how you gonna put it back on if the bolt holes are cut off? lol

Excuse to get a new one dont lie!

I can see it now.

"Honey, my bumper wont go back on after I took it off to work on it. Its broke... Looks like I am getting the one i always wanted".lol

Or you can do what I do,

" Babe my shock is broke, the bushing keeps coming off and I cant drive it like that. I called the guy at the four wheel shop and he said I need 4 new ones because they dont make mine anymore". lol now I have 4" shocks wich is better than my stockers. lol

just secure it to the metal bumper. i used the to holes for the tow hooks and the winch plate holds it. be creative the bumper is already ruined...

Bet you can find a new stock take-off bumper for little money or even free. And next time you'll know where to cut (BTW: Right now you're not an idiot. But, if you do it twice ... ).

this is a great excuse to get a new bumper
but i may just drill new holes and secure the old POS

got a brand new one I took of last weekend.........coming to SE Louisiana anythime soon?

I could cut it in half and mail it to you......lol.......couldnt resist. I have done stuff like that myself and after wonder how I managed to not see the problem BEFORE I started!!

lol thanks for the offer but i just realized i can drill new holes and bolt the bumper back on
