am i the only short a** to extend the gas pedal...!!!

then when i realised it was 3 inches optimum i surfed the 'net...
saw lots of 'bolts and plates' devices...very complicated...
ended up finding a very simple and light...folded aluminium device...
got in touch with the seller and blew his mind...
i'm in ireland...he's in south dakota...he was amazed...
great guy in Black Hills ... some kind of van outfitters...
super device...i'll post a pic if you like...let me know...
Yes please post a write up on your mod. I have everything within perfect reach, and comfort is great in my JK. The only moan I have is the stupid clutch and gas pedals have too much travel.
If I scoot my seat up, then my knee hits the steering wheel when I want to take my foot off the clutch. 2 inches back and it is uncomfortable trying to push the clutch and gas pedals all the way down. This is a whole leg movement doing simple driving tasks. It should be able to be done while having your heel firmly planted on the floorboard. This is not the case in our JK's though.
Anyone else have a remedy or a company who makes a modification?

I'm 5'4", although I do have pretty long legs for my height. When I first changed from a TJ to a JK five years ago, I noticed that there was more of a reach to the pedals in the JK. That meant I had to sit closer to the steering wheel to reach. I guess I've just gotten used to it over the years. Still, it's not the ideal sitting position, but it works.
I'd like to see the mod also. I am running since one year and a half with a small stack or rubber (old tire tube) wrapped around the gas pedal with duct tape and some zip ties. Looks awful, but it does the job.
No offense to whoever is comfy, but for me, the designer of the driver's area in the JK was inspired by ...

No other way to get something so non-ergonomic
