Amusing thing occurred.
On my way to pick up a co-worker during the snow storm on Friday, I pulled up his street to find it blocked by 4 feet of plowed snow. It seems that the plows were clearing the main through road, but pushed huge piles of snow into the cross streets. Now, they will return and clear those streets, but not immediately. I always drive in 4H when the roads are snow covered.
I climbed out of the JK and scoped-out the snow mound. It was about 4 feet tall, near vertical, and about 6 feet wide. I decided to drive through or over as the case may be.
Lining up square, I eased the front wheels up onto the pile. The packed snow crushed down about half way. I applied even power, climbing up and over. No bogging, no traction issues. Easy. Pulling up in front of the guy's house, I leaned over to unlock the passenger door.
That's when I noticed the transfer case was still in 2H......
My regards,
