Another reason why 4 doors are better:

Just christened the Unlimited during lunch. Plenty of room!! :brows:

Can't do that in a 2 door!!

CAOKKIE 08-13-2008 01:26 PM

I beg to differ. Although I was much younger.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

racer83l 08-13-2008 01:40 PM

you knew it was coming

:worthless:

doojer 08-13-2008 01:52 PM

I would argue that it's possible in a 2-door... but more fun in a 4-door. :synister:

Sure you can... you just need to practice ..... ;)

spartan99 08-13-2008 02:06 PM

Speaker bars came in handy...

shawnwade 08-13-2008 02:09 PM

Obviously you under estimate the Vegas 2 door owners!

BaltChief 08-13-2008 02:10 PM

2 doors work just fine......it's all in how you recline the seat...:bleh:

spartan99 08-13-2008 02:20 PM

Yes but being bound to the location of the seat leaves things quite limited. Maybe that's why it's called the Unlimited hahaha!! To get serious and technical about such activities in your Jeep, I tell you there's tons of room in the Unlmtd. You don't even file like you're stuck in a car. I'm sure a small mattress could fit back there. And the location of the speaker bars is just amazing; it's like they had this in mind when they designed the damn thing. Unlimited owners, lay down your back seat, get back there and you'll see what I'm talkin' about. All it needs is a disco ball, some 70's music...:rotflmao2:

thatguywv 08-13-2008 03:37 PM

I know it is not legal, but the front passenger seat with 2 people while driving makes things interesting. Top has to be off to do it.

Robar 08-13-2008 03:41 PM

If you have the top off be careful of sun burns in odd areas.

SFD1248 08-13-2008 03:46 PM

I have done this twice in my Unlimited. And yes there is plenty of room for all different ways. the sound bar is in a perfect spot.

Words of experience...? :rotflmao2:

x5tuu 08-13-2008 03:47 PM

i keep a nice thick blanket in my unlimited and some foam pipe insulation to fill the void where the rear bench cantilevers forward ;)

mine has been "tested" on a few occasions and the limo tint really helps no end too! lol

artpics 08-13-2008 04:07 PM

:brows:But our 2 doors have a greater break over angle :what?:

LedZepp877 08-13-2008 04:09 PM

haha, if it can be done in a TJ i'm sure it will be like a party in the JK :D

are you aware of the underliining tones of this topic??? Not exactly band camp. I had those summers years ago though so I know where you are coming from.

that70sboat 08-13-2008 07:20 PM

Figures... Now that I have a jeep big enough to do it comfortably , I'd have a hard time convincing the wife of the same. 25yrs ago I had to contort myself in all imaginable ways in my Jeep Scrambler .That's like an 80's version unlimited TJ pickup with only two seats for the under 40 Crowd........ Good times!!!!
I wonder if the guy that owns it now would take a pre-loved, very well maintained wife on trade for it?... I'd really like that jeep back!!!:yup:

Heck........if I could do it in a Triumph Spitfire I sure as hell can in my 2dr JK. Besides.....why do you think I took the back seat out over a year ago and it hasn't gone back in yet...!!!

dkingjk 08-14-2008 08:02 AM

It's easy in a two door. Just let some of the air out of your girlfriend, I mean hell; she just came out of small box.

Just my 2 cents from what ive seen out here on the rubicon and other hardcore trails. Ohh yeah Im not starting a fight just having fun! (thought i would clarify this for some people!)

You were obviously in such a rush to start a fight that you completely misunderstood what he was talking about. :dontknow2: Offroading was not the type of christening he was speaking about.

spartan99 08-14-2008 10:50 AM

Well one thing's for sure Petro, he's never done the nasty in his JK!

claymore 08-14-2008 10:51 AM

My first wife and I got busy in the back seat of one of the first Honda cars imported to U.S.A. That was in 1972 !:2thumbs:
