I appoligize in advance is this is a rant, but I am hot at the monent...

This morning I brought my 07 Shara in for the 3000mi service. I also had some minor issues first with the goo leaking from the top of the drivers side door (TSB http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-tsb-re...at-top-corners ) and second with the brackets that are supose to hold the rear of the soft top ( TSB http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-tsb-re...tainer-on-body )

I told to clerk what was wrong and that there were TSB. This guy paid very little attention to what I was saying but I thought this is a Jeep service dept they know what they are doing.........

About two hours later they came and got me and said that they needed to order a new drivers door gasket and new brackets for the rear. I was still happy with them for another few seconds... I went outside and took a walk around and found cracked/chipped paint on the the body that is supose to hold the plastic bracket. They must have taken a mallet and attepmted to bend the bracket instead of putting on the correct bracket like the TSB says....

I got the manger and maint guy out to document what they did. They were unappoligetic telling me to bring it back and they will have to body shop fix it. At this point I told the manger that there was a TSB out for the bracket issue. He looked my straight in ther eye and said "That's not possible I would know about any TSB" That this point I told the guy I have it in my pocket if you need a copy.

Advice to all of you, if you need work done and a TSB is out bring a copy with you and give it to the service dept when you drop off. It will say you the pain of them doing a crappy job attepting a fix without any clue of what the TSB says.....
