I bought it new and now has 9,500 miles - no problems.

I felt a drop the other day and thought it was a leak. Then I realized I had the top down and doors off when it started raining.

 

i have an 08 sahara had about 400 miles on it and the rear axle seal passenger side was leaking they fixed it under the warranty though.

 

08 sahara 12,000 miles on it. The only issue i had was a small hard-top leak but that was due to me crushing the seals.

 

08 2DR......18500 miles.....no problems other than the gas guage keeps dropping to E......

 

I have an 08 Unlimited Sahara with about 5000 miles on it. The only problem I have had was the latch that holds the softop to the windshield on the passenger side broke. Not sure if it hit something (like abig bug or bird ) when in the sun rider position or not but it was replaced under warranty. And the wonderful service "tech" installed it crooked.

 

I have had no problems till i got to 3000 miles. But in between 3000 - 5500... Problems. 1st. TSB done for the squeeeeling throwout bearing. 2nd. developed a ticking sputtering sound. they could be the same problem or two different things. leaking exhaust and ticking tranny? and 3rd. my MyGig does not turn on any longer. fuses are ok. shows jeep logo when the open/close button is pressed but that's all. Cant wait till it starts raining so i can find out that my top leaks. But to sum it all up, i'd buy another just like it and go through the same troubles.

 

08 rubi 6,000 miles no problems at all.

 

08 X Unlimited Hardtop Auto. 5k miles and the only problem was a passenger side A-pillar squeek that I fixed myself by tightening one of the windshield bolts. Lovin' every minute...

 

No mechanical problems in almost 8000 miles, but the paint quality is the WORST I have seen on any vehicle at any price. Anywhere there is a seam or hinge, I can se the primer through the transparent white paint.

 

08 white unlimited rubicon, 5000 miles.

only issue, once the mygig did the comes on but no volume thing. turned her off for 5 minutes, and it was back on and no problem since and i hear that this is fixed in the new update.
