Any regrets trading tires?

Don't regret ditching the Sahara 18s for my 35s on 17" soft 8's, however, I did keep the stock wheels and tires for a couple reasons:
1. In case I get transferred back to an area where I need to commute lots of miles daily.
2. In case I need to ditch the 35s for warranty work.

I think that I am going to try and get some take offs when I can, keep the 18's for daily driving. There were some available here on the forum at very good prices, but was told I have to wait until the pocket book is a little thicker! 
For now I guess I'll be utilizing the winch more often
