Been thinking about this lately and my friend that works for Jeep said they probably won't do the same warranty for 2010 models

can you imagine the fight you would have to go thru to get them to cover an engine? they dont want to cover things that cost 10% of an engine rebuild. I'd save your money and just get a hemi when or if your 3.8 ever blows, with your larger then stock tired and different gearing do you think you would easily get them to cover the power train you modified? I highly doubt it.

Two friends of mine are the service advisors for the local Jeep dealership and as long as I don't physically damage anything, it's covered. I go wheeling with them quite often

Thats one of the reasons I did buy a jeep 09 Sahara... I'd hate to do mods and void it though...

If they would have offered a better price on the Rubs then I may have considered it. But up here, even when the shit hit the fan, they still didn't change the price much. Didn't have to, and none of the dealers up here had to close.

That sounds ridiculous. Don't be a sucker and waste your money. The amount you are going to lose is close to what you could get a hemi for.

I'd love to trade my 2009 X for a 2009 RUBICON the dealer just got in ... Orange, Half-doors, 6-speed ...
