Keep a good set of A/T's on your jeeps and have another set of MT's for when you hit the trail... that way you dont run through expensive MT's all the time on your DD?

Got a set of dedicated winter treads on stock wheels, and then STT's for summer.

I like the stock wheels, after seeing them bedlined, im not going to buy rims... actually, scratch that.. stock 17's make 35" tires about $53 more a tire than if the wheel was a 16.. so I might sell stocks, and get 16's lol

What's the average life out of MT's like GoodYear Wrangler MT's?

I do that...
I have silent armor's for the road and then a set of take off Rubicon's wheels and tires that go on the day before a trail ride... along with a few extra skids...

I've not done the research for a while but at one time the Mickey T ATZ and MTZ looked to have about the same mileage life. I'm not sure having two sets would pencil

The stock Rubi's MT's at least can easily get 50k miles (except me, who will get 40k). Mine are siped and good enough for winter. Never saw a need for 2 sets.

I've considered going with 2 sets in the future, especially since I just bought new rims and still have my stock Moabs. But some of my wheeling has been impromptu, see a little trail or something and just see where it goes. I think I'm gonna go with just one set of nice MTs.
