Anyone else had this safety issue?
I'm in Atlanta. We don't frequently have very cold weather, but Friday night/Saturday morning we were in the 20's F.
I have a 4 door, 4 WD Sahara. 'bout 3 weeks old. No problems at all...until Saturday AM.
Cranked fine, drove fine, but when I tried to stop at a redlight about a mile from the house, I stepped on the brakes and there was NOTHING. I was only going about 35mph. I cut the wheel to the right and really stomped the brake, and then I believe the antilock did engage and I stopped w/o incident.
Rest of the day it was fine...fine all day today. I am thinking it had something to do with the very cold snap, but don't know what or why cold would affect this vehicle. Scared the crap out of me for a second, though. Anyone else had any similar issue??

Nope, i been drivin around here the past week in temps around and below zero with no problems. Take it in and have everything looked at.. there was a recall/TSB on some antilock brake issues so ask about that. other than that... my only guess is maybe something got water on it and froze up or something... good luck figuring it out though... hopefully it was just a fluke thing and wont happen again.
