Default Anyone else having fun in this Northeast snow mess?

I'm originaly from Syracuse and they have a ton of snow up there. Currently I live in Philly where we have more ice than snow but some snow nonetheless. I'm having a great time driving around in it.

My JK handles the snow and ice like a champ. I woke up the other day with 2" of ice on my hardtop and hood

Just curiuous if anyone else is enjoying the snow as a result of their shiny (well not so shiny after the salt gets to it) new JK

i am having a great time in the snow. there have only been a couple times i have needed the 4-hi (my driveway). I'm up in Northeast MA and we have 6+ inches of pure ice all over the place.

On another note, i was driving on the highway and a woman two cars in front of me in some hippy-ass toyota prius hybrid was driving around with a big sheet of ice on her roof. The ice, which was the size of my windshield, came flying off the top of the car and was headed strait for the hood of my jeep. I swerved and it clipped the passenger side, taking out the passenger side rear-view mirror. I was amazed at how well the jeep held its ground on the slushy pavement and with such an aggressive move. She was completely oblivious, even when i pulled up beside her yelling my head off... she won't be so oblivious when she gets a call from my insurance company for the claim. to all of those who don't...CLEAN OFF YOUR CAR PEOPLE!

I live up in the mountains of pa, just above Jim Thorpe. We had 8" the 6" of sleet/ice/rain which packed it down to a 6-8" mess then we got almost 14", depending on where you live. My neighbor was having trouble as they plowed his driveway in, got his tj high centered in the end, had to help dig him out. I did rub it in when I took my jk over the pile on my driveway, didnt even slow me down. I even tooled around in the big drifts and piles to make him feel even better.
I love the snow, but I wouldnt mind having the roads open, alot were closed here as Carbon county is still in a st-of-emergency.
I'll try to post pics tomorrow.

I live north of Boston and Work in Portsmouth NH my jeep just ate up the snow. By 12:00 on the 14th my work parking lot was full so the plows just had to give up. They let everyone go at 4:00 because it was getting bad... After I helped push 5 or 6 cars out of there parking spaces, I grabbed my girlfriend and headed down to the beach to check out the waves... It was crazy how well the jeep stuck to the road.... I am really impressed and very happy I bought it

Absolutely!

I was driving around day before yesterday looking for unplowed lots to blast around in, couple of construction sites where fun too!

I do not know of any real trails in my immediate area so any real fun had to be supplimented by this. There are some power lines/gas lines in the area, but with between a foot and 3 feet of snow covering hidden danger, and me not being familiar with them, it would be far to dangerous to try them.

I've been having a blast!!
I never had a 4 wheel drive vehicle before, and I've been having fun testing out the difference in handeling between two wheel rear, 4wheel and 4wheel with axles locked.....Very cool....and fun
