Hey its a fun song.....
I don't "like" avril...but realy a fun song to just blare from my jeep... just makes me smile...boy the fun I could have had before I was married with this song..... Is this why other moms think I'm weird? I thought it was because I homeschool....

Avril Lavigne is plastic, plain and simple... she's the most blatant commercial exploitation of punk music EVER, and that's saying something... not that I'm a huge fan of punk (most of it sucks pretty bad), but I like the concept that it stands (stood) for.
Oh well - I don't think that Avril will have a career too much longer... at least, not with any audience outside of high school...

Avril isn't punk...I would consider her Pop. yuck.
... DRI & Black flag is what I consider punk.
My personal favorite loud and obnoxious while driving in my Jeep is Rage Against the Machine
....they are "Metal punk" (according to my 19 year old know- it- all)

Good angry music. On the light side, I like , Soul Coughing, Weezer, Cake... Modest Mouse is pretty ok too.
