there's a cover over the cargo area of this JK...and just wondering if this can be purchased or if the owner had it custom made??? looks pretty sweet and is giving me ideas

Its just cargo netting.. that one looks custom made. You can get it online for about 100 bucks,

hmmm it looked solid, didn't look like cargo netting to me I'm talking about the flat piece going from the tailgate to what appears to be the back-seat area...and it's flush with the entire area...is that the same piece you're talking about? thanks!

oh no.. sorry.. that looks like one of those "instatrunks." you can also find those online. Not sure how much they run though.

My guess is a Bestop Flexatrunk
I had one on my 07 JK and it looks similar.

FWIW there are several "insta-trunk" products out there to purchase. Tuffy Security products makes a very secure one. It'll cost you a pretty penny though. There is a guy on this forum who made his own from aluminum diamond plate. It is VERY nice. Here is a link to his thread on the item (https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...runk-for-my-jk). I'm planning to do this very thing with my rig.
