Default Anyone seen these?

I was looking at this picture of a Border Patrol JK and noticed what looks to be a nice metal skid attached to the stock bumper. Anyone seen these in person? Any idea what it would cost to make something like this and would it be worth doing? It would definitely put my desire for a new front bumper/skid on the back burner and do other stuff if it was a good alternative.

I think you could have that fabricated at a local shop in a heartbeat.

Yeah, it looks simple enough to make/have made.

I believe that the government( Chaney) gets them under contract with Haliburton. About $35,000.00 each......

From what it sounds like from other National Guard members that deployed to the border in my unit, I'd say they probably need the Rubicon. But they didn't need the H1 I kept hearing stories about.
