Default Audio upgrade

Hey all I am in need of some assistance on finding out the speaker sizes in the 2010 JKU with the factory upgraded stereo. I am looking to replace ALL speakers and woofer(s) as soon as I can find our what size to order! Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

You need 6.5" speakers for front and rear. Sub should be an 8". Kicker makes some good upgrades that a lot of people get. Also a lot of people get the jl 8" sub or the kicker. I personally like polk audio and am upgrading my stuff with them. However I would change the deck out. The stock deck limits output and the best upgrade will be a new deck. Yes upgrading speakers will sound better but you won't get everything out if the upgraded speakers unless you do.

I upgraded my 2008 JK X standard speakers to stock upgrade. They were exact same size if that helps. My standard radio came with sub pig tail but had all wiring redone for Amp hook up. If you don't have upgraded radio there is no Amp pit tail. Without Amp sub doesn't work.

I will say if you go new deck then you will need a new amp also. I would do a kicker marine 5ch amp to run all your speakers. This is my plan at least.

X2. Crutch field is a good place to do your research and find out what will work. However I wouldn't buy there as you can buy for a lot cheaper at many other sites. Sonicelectronics has great prices, amazon and even eBay.

x3 except I WOULD buy from there. very knowledgable staff and worth the service. Tech support is available 24/7. I try to support sites that treat me well. They have gone out of there way several times for us (We have spent a decent amount with them over the past decade +1/2)

I would find a local business that is an authorized dealer for what you decide to get. Steer clear of sonic, woofers etc, eBay, amazon, and stuff like that. Sometimes you will get refurb stuff and if they aren't an authorized dealer you might not have the the manufacturers warranty.
