Automatic Starter
Question - does the auto starter disable the Sentry Key. This is the chip that I believe is in the key that matches the ignition colum so that a thief can not easily steal your Jeep. On my 03 Rubicon the Sentry key saved my Jeep from being stollen in Mexico during the Baja 1000 race. The thief broke the door lock and steering colum but was unable to keep the Jeep running. He locked it up and left the Jeep. $120 dollars later and we were rolling with a new ignition. I lucked out this time! Long story, but I would hesitate on putting an auto start on my Jeep if it disabled the anti thief devise. Any thoughts?

Damage to colum

Damage to door

Here is what they were after. On a positive note they did not take anything from the Jeep.

Is your remote start the dealer installed or manufacturer installed? I ask because I would like to know if you now have to have 2 key fobs. Would you care to upload a pic of the remote/keychain?
Seriously a pic of the key starter would be amazing. I'm going to the stealership on Thursday to get rubicon tires put on my stock X, and now I'm thinking about having them toss on the remote starter while I'm there. $190 seems cheap after spending $400 to get a remote starter on my 2000 Grand Cherokee.
PS - its still honking....any other ideas/fixes?
Hopefully this will work, here's a picture:
