Default Back Seats in or Back seats out?

Do you keep your rear seats in or our of your JEEP? OR, do you keep them folded up.

If you keep them folded up then your probably used to the constant bashing after every time the seats recline back due to the acceleration. wow what a run on.

Name the obvious
Seats in:
More passengers
Makes Jeep Heavy

Seats out:
Less winers
Lighter Jeep = More Power
Lighter Jeep = Better mpg
More room for junk in the trunk
quoting borat "Sexy time" in the Jeep

Help me name some more pros and cons for each dilemma.

Back seat is always out for me. Since my wife and I don't have kids yet, we don't need room for more than 2. If we have company in town, we take her Forester.

Taking the back seat out adds gobbs of storage space, and it makes it easier for my dog to get from the back to front seat on long road trips.

The one time I like having the back seat with me is when I'm camping. I just pull the seat out when I get to camp and set it next to the campfire. If you lean back on it so that it's balanced like an upright V it's really comfortable. Much more so than a folding camp chair.

The seats are out in mine about 90% of the time. We have two kids and if we all go somewhere we just take the wifes car. I have mine out for extra cargo room, but more importantly....my dog ( mans best friend )

I have an Unlimited so I have "gobbs" of cargo space and room for 5. So seats in.

I just tried. It's too dark out. I'll shoot one tomorrow if no one else posts one.

I took my seat out as soon as I pulled the jeep into the driveway for the first time. Its been sitting in my master bedroom closet ever since.

Got a 2 door, no kids, but three medium sized dogs, so they need all the room they can get. I usually let Hubby have the front passengers seat.

I've been running with the rear seats folded 90% of the time. Now that I have room in the garage, that'll change -- the rear seat will eventually live there nearly 100% of the time.

Does the back seat in a 4 door Rubicon come out like the 2 door. We have a shipping date of 2-22 and a vin # so far.
Thank
Walt

Back seat?? Oh yeah, I did get one with mine. I took it out as soon as I got home from the dealership and it hasnt been back in since. We don't have kids at home anymore, just me, the wife and our Rottweiler. He has plenty of room back there.
