Mine came with them also, but I never have used them. Its a pain to undo the zipper and roll up the window and risk scratches. I just unzip and let the window fall in to the back of the Jeep while still attached to the bar and zipper end.

 

Thats not a bad idea...I dont have an unlimited so I dont have much room for anything to fall back into the back there.

On a side note...does anyone have trouble keeping the bottom bar in those plastic clip on holders. They should have kept them the way they were, screwed on, mine pop off all the time and leave about a one inch gap between the back door and threshold bar, it gets nice and wet back there...everytime I open my 'secret' compartment it just smells absolutely lovely!!
