Default Back window when putting the top down....

Is it just me, or should there be two straps on my soft top in order to roll up the back window? I used to have a TJ, and it had the two straps that held the rolled up back window in place. Its a pain in the ass to have to unzip and take off the whole thing every time I want to take the top down.

you have to take it out everytime. mopar and others sell storage bags/roll systems for it.

A set of button straps should have come with it. Some people said it was with their owner's manual.

I wouldn't think rolling the window up then dropping to top on it would be very kind to it. But as others have said here you should have a couple of straps in the glove box or center console. the snappy elastic ones.

Yeah, there were a couple of elastic snap straps that came with it (mine were in the glove), but I have no idea how to use them. I take out the window every time, which will probably keep it in slightly better shape over time. I also have the Mopar storage bag on its way.

My straps were in the glovebox. They're elastic loops with a snap on one end. They snap onto the softop frame above the window. I snapped them on, and have left them on ever since.

I roll up the back window when using the sunrider "sunroof" position, but I zip the back and side windows completely out when lowering the whole top.

No way. I'm going to check that out right now.

I just unzip the top part and lower it into the trunk space then pull the top down. seems to work good without messin up the back window. keeps me from taking the rear door retainer out and all. please let me know if i shouldn't be doing this!
