Default a bad weekend. Will warranty help?

I found a new place to wheel this weekend. It was a blast, but after i got out of school a couple hours later my tpms error light came on, i went home plugged the right rear tire and i thought everything was alright. So today i went back out to the same spot and wheeled a little harder. When i got on the highway it sounded like i had a window open I assume that the freedom top got out of alignment and taking it off and putting it back on will be the solution(hopefully). The issue is a severe wobble that seems to peak at around 50-60, steering wheel shakes, pedals shake and well everything else. i felt like i was going through turbulence or something. The jeep has 7000 miles on it and is completely covered in mud, think the dealership will cover it? If so what angle would you try to work when they tell you its your fault? And that your a dumbass for tearing up a brand new vehicle.

Sounds like a good washing will help. Mud on & inside the wheel can cause this. Start with the easy stuff first.

Think your screwed. With your lift and bigger, then stock, tires, your at least going to have a uphill battle to try and get your warranty to cover it.

I know it might not be right, but I count on them telling you this before they even look at it.

Good luck and hopefully you realize that this is price you pay for playing off road.

speed dependent shakes can be balancing issues. check for missing wheel weights. or swap that plugged tire for you spare to see if that helps.

That sounds like you lost a weight on your wheel or bent a wheel.

If your tires are still muddy, thats your problem. Spray them down inside and out, making sure to get up around the brake calipers, and you'll be fine!

Did you do you lift properly? Also get the mud off your wheels that will most defiantly screw with your balancing.

Wash that sucker!!! Had the same thing coming back from a ride last weekend. cleaned the Jeep and it's back to smooth sailing. After that check the wheel weights. After that take it to the dealer. It IS trail rated after all. If they won't fix it, sue for false advertising.

Just kidding about the last part. It doesn't sound like a big issue.

Wash it up like everyone else has said.

If that doesnt work, dont be a dirtbag and try to claim a manufacturer defect....it's not, and you KNOW it.

That is why you have your collision/comprehensive coverage on your auto insurance. I would tell them that something flew off the person's car in front of you and you struck it with the front tire and rolled over it with the rear tire as well.

This way, the flying object is considered a comprehensive claim and is a "not at fault" loss.

Funny.....I told you not to lie to the dealership.....but go ahead and lie to the insurance company. LOL
