After reading this thread and many others (and listening to buddies) Chrysler should be running a recall for the ball joints! I took my JK Unlmtd in for an alignment at 12k miles and was told that all 4 ball joints, draglink and both outer tie rocks were shot. I took it for a second opinion and was advised that these parts were sloppy and in need of replacement.... My dealership said that the 35" tires did the damage and declined to fix the problem.

I ordered the replacement parts and did the install myself... saved myself the $750.00 labor and $200 mark up on the parts.

I'm a little disappointed in the quality of the OEM.
