Default beach tires

I'm planning on going to Assateague Island National Seashore in MD. Will my stock Rubi do well on the beach? How well would Nitto Terra Grapplers 33x12 do on the sand? thanks guys and gals.

Your tires should do OK. Just have to air down to about 15PSI.
make sure you have all the riquired stuff before you sign in at the ranger station.

Assateague tends to be one of the softer beaches compaired to Myrtle beach, Corolla, or Daytona. You will be fine with you stock tires once you air them down. You will only have trouble going from the road thru the dunes to the hard sand.
Make sure you try to use your brakes as little as possible. I had to replace rotors and pads after a trip in my toyota in pick up due to the sand.
Best peace of advice is get to a power washer up on coastal highway soon after and wash the hell out of the undercarrage.
Make sure you stop at the gas station across from Frontier Town campground and top off the tank. Its about 20 miles to the park and that is the last gas station.
Check their web site they require you to have several things to get your permit. Shovel, Board for the jack, Jack, Tire pressure guate, etc.
Just be prepaired to be cleaning sand from every crevis of your jeep until you get rid of it.
Have fun!!
