I think the OP is saying this is happening when he's pulling the trailer off road on extreme trials..?? Maybe... Still lost on his happening with 37s, three different times. Still thinks there's info being left out too...

Even pulling a small trailer off road should not cause that is you are taking it easy, keeping your speed appropriate, etc. I pull a converted Nissan pickup truck bed, fully loaded with a roof top tent on the trails and have never had an issue. I've done hundreds of trail miles with it. I have a stock D44 rear and D30 front.

I do not get it, I have D30/D44 in my 07, running a metric size which measures over 36 inches, bumpers, winch, sliders, skid plates, trail rack, with two jerry cans and pull a 2000ish lb pontoon and trailer and a 2900lb popup no problem for at least 3 years now. Not to mention when I moved from Az to Mi I pulled a 6x12 box trailer fully loaded almost 2k miles. Shoot we just got back last night from a 900 mile trip to Drummond Island and back with the popup and have yet to bend an axle or axle shaft.
