So went wheeling this weekend and bent the bottom of my tailgate out about a quarter of a inch. I fell off a rock and hit my spare 35 that was mounted on stock carrier. My question is has anyone ever fixed this or bought a new tailgate. I took my tire off until I can afford a EVO carrier. Which will be along time.

Got any pics of the damage? Give us a better idea of what we're working with.

Tire wobbles when I hit bumps and makes a metal flexing noise.

Mine has been bent for 3 years now. Misread a line and slipped backwards into a tree. Hasn't caused me any issues, plus it adds character.

Take the plastic covers off the hinge, this way you can look at the panel.
