Best Cover

Jason, I was just going to ask this same question. I travel almost every week, and it's a nuisance taking the top off just for a weekend. I'd like something to put on the Jeep while it's sitting under covered parking at the airport. Looks like Bestop might be the way to go.

The Bestop is a great cover. It is very heavy duty, and has a soft liner underneath. It is a pain in the ass to put on by yourself if the wind is blowing though. But it's the best quality cover that I have seen. It's worth the money and provides decent protection from the elements for your interior.

I've never removed my soft top. I don't always tuck it in under the back unless it's supposed to rain. Like I said I bought the smitybilt and the material is tearing a little. If this one finally tears I'll go with Bestop.

The Bestop Trail Cover is great. You can use it with pretty much any combo of
safari top/full doors/softtop. One problem I had with mine was the cover
hooks into the pinch seam. On Rubi's (which I don't own), that pinch seam is
covered by a rail. On mine, I have Shrockworks rock rails and the gap
between the top of the rail and the bottom of the pinch seam was too small to
fit the plastic J-fasteners on the Trail Cover. No problem: Just use some short
pieces of string to the rock rail. Another small problem is that with the Bestop
Duster installed, the lip where the Trail Cover attaches is in use. But, the
straps at the rear hold it well--you just need to be careful for water pooling up
on the Duster after it rains. Finally, the Trail Cover is very tough--mine
survived a hail storm that tore up my hood and the roofs of virtually every
home in my neighborhood.

Any concerns on security with the cover, like your photos I park in my driveway with my soft top all summer, with doors. Without doors and a trail cover it might be easier to get in? It looks like it fits pretty snug. (I realize my soft top windows are on a zipper and easy accessable too)
Thanks
