I just put a besttop supertop on my 2008 2dr, it came with crank knobs instead of latches to secure the headline to the windshield channel. I cant get the top to seal properly at the windshield channel. it also takes about 5 minutes per crank knob to get it tight. has anyone had this problem or have a fix?

 

I have a 1st generation Bestop Trektop, which uses the same knobs as the Supertop to attach to the windshield header. The only fix I know of is to replace the top with a Supertop (or Trektop) NX (2nd generation), which employs factory-style header latches instead of those ^&%$*$#@! knobs.
