I know - beat the dead horse... im not going to go off on the water leak (which has been resolved) or the windnoise (which is livable - kinda)

my issue - the rear door surrounds are litterally messed up fropm the factory - they left a 1" tab sticking off of them or they didnt make the surrounds right and that where they were supposed to be in the first place - not to mention , dang thing was torn out of the box... and its been sittin gin the sun for like 7 hours now and i still cant get it to fit right... order is in for a new "top hat" now i gotta have another call placed for the new rear door surrounds.


Anyone else had build quality issues on this?

oh - and another thing - i went to bestop and they are all "you need to call the distributor to have the warranty claim put through".. now - i get it, i really do. but seriously, im on the phone with you right now and theres nothing that they can do for me! I traded my softtop for this brand new trektop so this is the only top i have right now... Kinda feel like im getting the stiff one from bestop right now.

Thank god the guy i did the trade with is cool as hell and helping to resolve this stuff, but seriously, maybe this is why they are on backorder - cause they are all being used as warranty replacements...
