I have the besttop bikini and use it with the door surrounds,, my question,, is anybody happy with theirs?? Its very noise, a PIA to put on/off and the part that sticks up near the windshield? whats up with that? is the safari any better?? I also got the duster and windjammer but not happy with needing the rear bar,, didn't get a soft top with my jeep.. anybody have a homebrew solution for that??

My Safari is noisy, it sticks up near the windshield and by the sound bar, but just rolls back and stows quickly, 5 minutes from on to off. I don't use the surrounds, I use the velcro straps.

I think it is just the way it is. The Mopar bikini might be better.

 

I have the bestop Bikini. It is ok. It flaps in the wind, puddles up in the rain, but It suffices for what I need it for. It is just a temporary shade to protect from the elements for the time being. Easy to take on and off within 5 minutes. I do wish it would cinch up alittle better.

 

Not too pleased with the fit of the Mesh Bikini top....lots of rolls from the header to the sound bar. It was extremely tight and a PITA to clip the sides between the A & B pillar with the door frame. I just hope it needs to be stretched alittle. However, it does protect the kids from elements of the sun and you still get the feeling you have the top off with the mesh. It gets noisy once you get going above 80km/hr. sounds like a flock of killer bees following you down the road.
