Default BestTop Element Door Review

Well I decided to bite the bullet and order the besttop element tube does with painted matched outer and eventually the soft uppers.
I unpackaged the tube doors today and optional "TJ" mirrors to install first
It was a pretty fast and seemed to be easy install with a possibility minor adjustments to get latch mechanisms to latch properly.
So yeah about the latch mechanisms- after several attempts and monkeying around it seems to be apparent that the design allows the door , when latched to rattle in and outwards because of the 1x 4 inch flat metal internal latch has to much upwards movement. With a little modifying I was able to take some of the play out of the latch but not all.
I will be updating and posting pics later on of exactly of whats going on and hopefully a easy fix to anyone that already has these doors or is looking at them.

I think with a little modifying it might be possible to make this setup better. I just was a little disappointed in the quality. Is there a place to buy quality latches. It almost looks like a standard cheaper version of a motorhome type latch or enclosed trailer

Well my painted matching side panels are in route and I am planning on tack welding a piece of flat steel on the crappy latches to see if the rattling will stop
