How far did you drive to the beach?

Make sure all tires are above 34psi or so.. if they "all are" try another gauge.

stockers are 37. sounds like the pressure gauge your using is way off.

Keep in mind your supposed to measure your tire pressure while the tires are cold. Driving generates heat in the tires and that heat causes an increase in pressure. Its perefetly normal and depending on how far you drove, temps, etc an 8psi increase is not out of reason. Next time you fill your tires make sure they are at ambient temperature (fill/check them after sitting for about 15 min if you have been driving).

Make sure to check your spare! One day my tire pressure light came on, I checked and the tires were at 37 all around so I was worried something was wrong. Luckily the JK's spare is on the back so I just checked it off hand and it was down in the 20s. I filled up the spare and no more light!

Ive driven a WJ with the TPMS and the spare is really tough to get to. Same thing happened with it and it was a 15 minute ordeal of accessing the valve stem of the tire under the trunk, getting the air hose in there, filling it up and putting everything back!
