Default Black-Brown marks from spare

Searched the forum and no luck
Does anyone have this issue about the spare tire leaving marks on the silver part of the bumper, when it rains.
Even washing it will not come off.
I have to use a paint cleaner.

Just tear those blingy pieces of crap off and throw them in the trash. They don't belong on a jeep. I don't know what Chrysler was thinking. Just awful. I threw mine away before I even got home from picking up the jeep from the dealer. I can't wait til I can afford new bumpers.

you sound soooo upset, I think he was asking why he gets the brown spots from the spare, could be armor all or some kind of tire dressing that comes off with the rain

I get those marks too, But mine seem to come off with the pressure washer and some bug cleaner .....

About what SUFR9 said, I have to disagree, I think they look great on mine maybe its because I have the bright silver JK so they match the rest of the Jeep ...

I don't really know where those drips are coming from either :(

I do agree with you on that. They do look pretty decent on silver. Sorry if I sound harsh, I just don't like the accents.
