Default Black Leather or Dark Saddle?

Hello, all. I am new to the forum and hope everyone is doing well. I'm getting ready to order up a 2013 Wrangler Unliminted Sahara in the True Blue paint scheme with the Dual Top Group option with painted hard top. Going from a 5.3 liter V8 in my previous vehicle (GMC Canyon) with 3.73 gears I do believe that having the 3.73s once again is the way to go. The last unresolved decision I have pertains to the interior color. It's tricky not having my color currently out there to be able to visualize it. I know for a fact that the black interior would look awesome and also match the soft top in the summer. I also know that it gets damn hot when in the sun. On the flipside, I'm a huge fan of the two-tone dash and door panels but I'm just not sure about the brown with the blue. I do understand that this is strictly a matter or opinion and personal preference, and I'm confident that either choice will be awesome, but I would like to see what others think about it. I was also caught up on the chrome/no chrome decision, but I'm leaning toward no chrome. My current vehicle is aqua blue with light tan leather and crhome door handles, tubular steps, grill, bumpers and door handles, which I love, but I think the black/blue looks pretty tough, especially when the soft top is on. I am springing for the optional 7-spoke polished aluminum wheels.

All comments and opinions are welcome and no offense will be taken. Thanks again in advance for your input!

I'm a huge fan of the tan. I'm sure it'll look great with the blue

Saddle...

I came very close to buying a Black Forest Green Sahara last year...but the only hold up was that it had black leather. I tried to convince myself that it would be OK....but I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger. Saddle will be a lot cooler in the summer. Plus tan and dark blue look good together.

Went to the dealership yesterday to place my order! The problem I'm facing now is that the Dark Saddle color is not available in leather at this time. It's bittersweet because I know black will look awesome, but I have found information online that the Dark Saddle restriction will be lifted and available for ordering on July 6. At that time I should still be able to change my order should I so desire. Can anyone confirm or deny this information? From what I've read on here Jeep seems to do this a lot as far as making something available and then yanking it. What's the story with all the teasing and head games? Frustrating!!!

I would get the dark saddle. Love the two tone look.

Was in your same spot a few months ago. I want with all black and I love it. But you can't go wrong either way. It's been insanely hot in Omaha so far this summer and the seats get warm but it's nothing that bothers me. Congrats on the new Jeep!

I got mine with black leather and love it. I haven't seen where the black is that big a deal. It has been plenty hot here in Texas.

Thanks for the input. I know they'll both look great!! That's what makes it so hard. Here it's only hot for four months or so.
