Question Blackout Look Love it or Hate it?

I am just curious what has so many people drawn to the blackout look on their rigs. Is it because of money or possibly it looks more like a hardcore wheeler? Maybe it is the old saying "If it doesn't run chrome it".

I personally do not want my rig to look like a mirror going down the trail but I like a little contrast between the wheels and tires along with the body and the accessories.

what is your opinion Blackout or let it shine?

I wonder if anyone has gaffers taped up a jeep.

I am ok with the shiny black when it's new.. is nice and shiny new shiny shiny oooooh shiny shiny..

But for practical purposes.. I like the flat black non-reflective mad max look.

black it out, its so much easier to maintain/spot paint. chrome is nice for a curbcrawler.

Go black. It's just my own personal preference, but I really don't care for having a lot of chrome excessories or pieces, or wheels. Too much 'bling for me.

I was a little focused on the looks but it makes sense to keep things flat black so you can touch it up with a rattle can after a good trail ride.

The flat black goes well with the factory bumpers and fender flares.

I love touch up paint. I could use some on one of my wheels, acutally all 4 probably.
