Try to keep it on the road in a tornado! Got that posted on the anything & everything thread.

It can be a battle stock, so yeah I can imagine w/ lift it's even worse.

Jeep Wrangler is a square box on wheels with too much air going under it.
Not wind or aero friendly.

I thought it was like strapping a piece of plywood to the front of my old Aviator when I drove 300 miles into a 40mph quartering headwind.

I pulled over and got a strap for the hood at a Home Depot, and that helped. But only a little. I would not have felt comfortable allowing my 16 year old to drive it in this kind of wind.

But I just held on and enjoyed the ride. It was the first time I had driven my Jeep after the lift, and I was actually pretty impressed that it wasn't worse, all thing considered.

BTW the tailwind coming home a few days later was great!

Yeah, noticed that, too. Also, the loss of camber with a BB causes a lot more wandering about the road.

Feels like you are trying to "drive" a sailboat on the road! We have nothing BUT wind here!

Side winds are bad however with the doors and top off (safari) it helps a lot.
