This is the Viair System used, and is stated to support airing up tires...

...although it's rated only at 1.31 cfm at 0 psi.

Im not looking to purchase just a compressor right now. I was looking to purchase a train horn and was just curious if you could use the compressor for the horn to air up

If you want just an air horn and the ability to air up tires, buy the kit on horn blasters with the compressor.

You can always add another quick disconnect line from the tank with the kit, that you could use to fill up your tires.

The horns can be bought separately from the on board air kit. There are kits on hornblasters that run between 369 - 609 that include all necessary hardware for running horns.

If you are looking for a kit that you can air up your tires as well as run air horns, IMO it would be easier to add a quick disconnect line from the tank instead of adding air horns to an on board air system.

Any kit with a tank would work with adding a quick disconnect.
