Default Body damage advice

Anyone think this damage can be fixed?

Mother f-ing cheap harbor freight high lift jack decided it wanted to drop instead of lift. Dropped the passenger side and the top of the jack nailed the door.

If it happened on the trail I'd have a smile on my face and a story to tell. But this just pisses me off to look at it so I'd like to get it fixed. What do you guys think?

I can't see the pics.... but if there is no crease you might be able to get a paint less dent repair.... If there's a crease you'll need fiberless or bondo to fill it... Good luck.

Sorry that happened. It looks like very minor damage and any local body shop should be able to handle it in 2-3 days. The door is easily removed so it can be repaired on a bench then carried to a paint booth for color and clear.

I'm a ticketed bodyman... don't worry it's a basic fix. Probably about a 2-3 hour repair + removal and installation of the door and fender components ( you paint the adjacent panel as well for color match when the damage is close to the edge). It would probably be about a 2 day job depending how busy the place is.

That makes me feel quite a bit better. I appreciate it. What would you think a fair price range for something like this might be? I don't really know a good body shop in my area so I'd like to have a ballpark to compare a fair price too.

Unfortunately autobodywork isnt cheap, most of the cost will be in the paint supplies but a very rough estimate i'd say :
2-3 hours bodywork aprox $100-200
paint for 2 panels aprox $400-600
removal and installation of door/ fender parts will be at book time which just guessing would be 2-3 hours ( handle , lock cylender, mirror, belt molding, window run channel, antenna base, hood latch, and the fender flare.) $150-250
Just be careful and go to a reputable shop in your area - ask around! I've seen many bad repair and paint jobs on simple repairs such as yours.
