Default bored so im gonna buy parts, input needed

OK I have a 2011 jku rubi its all stock. Im bored so im going to spend money I should be saving lol

wants.. up to a 2.5 lift, 33-34 inch tire

question. I recently read about the TF 2.5 lift ripping up the driveshaft boot on the autos. Will all 2.5 lifts have the same problem??? To aovid this should I get a smaller lift? Will a 2 inch lift rip the boot?

Im not a hardcore offroader, I go 3 times a year at most. Except for the beach I do that 3 times a week but no lift is needed. In the future I plan on buying a 33inch-34inch tire. I dont not want 35's I drive 180 miles a day. Also do you think stock rubi 32's will look stupid with a lift? should I hold off on the lift until I buy my tires? I will need new tires next winter.

If I should wait on the lift im going to buy oil pan protection and evap skid, maybe some lights.

I hate this site you all suck.. (joking offcourse) looking at everyones rigs and new parts make me want to buy crap I dont need but love One day im gonna buy steal bumpers. I dont know how many times ive added them into a shopping cart then taken them out.

Well for your needs of not wanting to rip the driveshaft boot, any lift that gets you that high on an auto will tear the boot. You can remedy that by trimming the skid plate it makes contact with.
For just running 33's, you could just go with a leveling kit and upgrade the shocks. That would give you a much better ride and possibly more droop at full flex.
Can also get some rubi take off springs and that will help the ride a little too.
As for a 3"lift with stock 32's, it actually doesn't look that bad until you hit closee to 4"of lift IMO.
Hope some of this helps

The boot doesn't tear on the skid at this height. It catches on the corner of the tranny pan at full flex. If you keep the shocks on the shorter side, I don't think you should have any problems. I wheeled my TF 2.5" coil lift with shock extensions and had no issues. After I switched out to longer aftermarket shocks, I ripped the boot my first time out.

thanks for the replys, Grim I already have the rubicon so no need for the springs. I guess the leveling kit is for me. The 11's dont have the skid plate its more like a bar that protects the tranny
