I noticed every time i hit my brake pedal. It makes a slight squeaking sound. I have no idea why. The jeep brakes fine and normal. But that pedal itself keeps squeaking. Any ideas?

I did a search on the squeaking recently and it I think, if I remember correctly, pointed towards the brake booster? I'm too tired right now but I'll try to find it and post a link....

Is it really cold out when it happens? It is your brake booster probably. I just had mine replaced. If anyone is curios i can send you the video I made of mine to show dealership. They changed it out and it is fine now. Pm me a number to send video to if you want to hear. Mine did it on the 2 coldest days here in south sunny fl so it was easy to figure out cold was assisting the issue.

 

My 2010 is making this noise, similar to anyone else's? If it is, was it the break booster that you needed to replace?
