Do Bug Guards actually work, or are they a gimmick? As I am sure we all experience bug guts on the hood and winshield, I am looking for a way to minimize the carnage...or should I just say F@#C% it, and deal with the constant use of wiper fluid?

 

I have one and while I still get a lot that hit the windshiled, I've seen others and they seem to have more carnage, but there are many factors that go into it. I know on other vehicles I've had, it has made a big difference, but this was the first time I had one on a Jeep and put it on right after I got her, so no real comparison from beforehand, but you got to figure it can't hurt at all.

 

I have been wondering if they would help with the dammed rock chip thing.
