Default bulkhead / cargo stop.....

I take the back seat out of my 2 door a lot and haul tools etc. for work. Has anyone installed a bulkhead behind the front seats to prevent stuff from flying to the front seats in the event of a sudden stop? I'm thinking about cutting a sheet of 3/4 plywood to fit there, not too big, just something to keep things in the back. Maybe painting it real nice. Anyone done this? Homemade style?

i've been searching for a wire mesh partition as well. Not to haul too much stuff, but to not have an issue of any thing flying up towards my passengers.
I've seen some fj cruisers w/ some gnarly looking expedition partitions.... just honestly nothing worthwhile for the JK.

Post some pictures when you complete your project.

Someone put a small tubular handle for like a bathroom. Like a grab handle that goes by the crapper. Kept his cooler and such from slamming into the console, not sure if it would allow the rear seat to be reinstalled however.

I would think something that hooked into the rear seat loops in the floor wouldn't be too hard to come up with.
