I don't like the bumper at all as it's a little plain for my taste but I have the smitty xrc-8. It definately works but you will find it will take time to do any long pulls. 1 minute max run then a few minutes to cool and 1 min on and few minutes to cool.

I'm hearing some good things about the other winch option they are offering. epi version.

i'm listening...

the bumper or whatever it is... looks like a factory "stubd and peeled"..
(whats behind the plastic..?)

but its a stubby, good approach angles stuff.... i just wish i could keep my factory fogs.

The bumper is not plastic, it's steel. It appears to just run between the frames. It's certainly a minimalist bumper. I kind of like it, though still want the PJ stubby.

Behind the middle portion of the front plastic bumper there is a thin piece of steel. There is nothing behind the rear plastic bumper, that thing is useless, except for very low speed bumps.

I like those minimalist EO bumpers. With the winch I thin it sounds like a pretty decent deal.

if u get the basic one without the d-rings u can still keep the fog lights u just have to cut out a circle with a holesaw from the looks of it anyways, the one with the d-rings u might beable to cut the mountian thing out and put the fog lights in right there but im not sure on how big that symbol is it may be too big and u wont get a nice hole ya know what i mean?

I don't like it much. I think it would look better with D-rings in place of the factory hooks.
