Default Busted Rear Window

First injury to my 2014 Wrangler JK Sport S. I have broken out my rear window. The wiper and defroster wires are hanging by the cords. Can any glass place replace this or will I have to go to the dealer?

The. Dealer sells them, but at a high cost. I would try a glass shop. I have seen them on Craigslist.

If u have full coverage glass breakage is usually zero deductible.

Yeah that's the way I'm going to have to go. Of course it's supposed to rain all week.

I should have gotten a soft top also. Now trying to figure out what I need to get one as well. I know there is a front bar required. Little confusing which tops would be the best and have everything needed.

For a temporary fix make a template out of cardboard. Then cut a piece of plexiglass or lexan with dremel router bit. Just drill the holes for mounting . You would not want to use the wiper, it would scratch , too easily.

I bought a used soft top on craigslist for $400. Just make sure you get all of the parts. Frame , door surrounds, rear bar, six knob screws, and mounts for the roll bar. Or you could get a bestop trektop nx.
