That sounds a little high on price. I got my 08 used in 2010 for 17,000. But when u r looking for one. U need to listen for knocking from the engine. And put the manual in first and let go of it when u r taking off to c if it jumps out of first. Mine jumps out of first if I don't hold it in sometimes. But it has never hurt it.

That 2009 isn't bad but lately I've been finding better deals than that I live in Oklahoma and I saw a 2door 09 jk x with 14k miles and it was 18 I went to the dealer and nothing was wrong with it car fax said it was a single owner. So if I were you I wpuldbebadass wait and look for better deals also I have a 09 jku with 3.5 in and 35 no problems far and a 11 2dr x with 2.5in lift with 35

For 2-doors don't buy an 07 without confirming the rear end is a D44. I now know 2 people who ended up with D35's back there in their 2-doors.
Other years are fine however. A good way to gauge prices is look a comparable jeep up on Carmax and see what their asking. Private party would be lower, but at least you'd know the ballpark.
Given a choice, I'd get a JK, especially if you're going with a Rubicon model. The lockers in the JK's are much stronger than the low-pressure air TJ Rubicon lockers.
Good luck!

I think he's only wanting a Ruby.
Got my 08 all modded for 25K. I think I got it for a steal, but Jeeps always hold value so the price you're looing at isn't bad.
